The client wished to create a space that would be contemporary but not sterile as well as relaxing and ideal for entertaining.

There is no doubt that the new garden has added considerably to the value of the house and enjoyment of its owners.

Working on the diagonal, two terraces were designed in contrasting materials.

A light coloured sandstone terrace to combine with the interior of the house and soften the boundary. In contrast, a timber decked terrace provides a sympathetic background for plants and combines particularly well with a brushed steel water feature.

Planting is full and vibrant with plenty of contrast to ensure that something is happening at all times of the year.
