The Client requested a contemporary angular design with clean lines to marry in with the architectural glass extension to the rear of the house.

Travertine stone was used on the main terrace leading from the house and area surrounding the swimming pool.

An Iroko bridge led over a reflective pool running down the entire length of the extension. Large 3m wide steps were designed to create a bold statement and to remain in proportion to the house.

A wide resin bonded path lined with 5 rectangular beds planted with clipped box plants provided access to the rear of the garden. Both deciduous trees and coniferous trees were planted to create height and screening from neighbouring houses. Hot coloured perennials were incorporated together with grasses, palms and tree ferns to create striking foliage contrast.
