In this Ealing garden a circular design was applied to create a relaxing space and one which is visually pleasing to the eye.
A secluded and private shady seating area was located at the bottom of the garden accessed via a pergola clothed in honeysuckle. This will encourage garden users to venture further into the garden.
The lawn was edged in brick and a change in level helped to clearly distinguish the two areas of lawn.
Amelanchier lamarckii (June Berry) was planted to give seasonal interest with its star-shaped, white flowers in spring and beautiful fiery autumn orange/red leaf colour. Evergreen shrubs were planted to give bold structure in winter and pockets of perennials will give a splash of colour in spring/summer.
